hi miss here’s my home work

Nelson Mandela was a very important  man in the continent of Africa .He had many names like  father, grate one and many many more.now Nelson Mandela is 94 years old and he was born on the 18th of July 1918  and  served as president of Africa  from 1994 to 1999and was the first South African president to be elected in a fully representative democratic election. Before his presidency, Mandela was a militant anti-aparthed activist, and the leader and co-founder of Umkhonto we sizwe, the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC). In 1962 he was arrested and convicted of sabotage and other charges, and sentenced to life in prison. Mandela served 27 years in prison, spending many of these years on Robben Island. Following his release from prison on 11 February 1990, Mandela led his party in the negotiations that led to democracy in 1994. As president, he frequently gave priority to reconciliation, while introducing policies aimed at combating poverty and inequality in South Africa.

Well done to Oliver in 12dS for being the first person in school to complete a 100 word challenge. Let’s see how many more people can do it!!

Remember, you have only 100 words to write…so…it doesn’t take long and you have to be selective with your words….

This week you must write anything you like on the theme: DRAGONS!

Go on, give it a go!!
